Holiday Concert Fantasia on Christmas Carols Ralph Vaughan Williams wrote the "Fantasia on Christmas Carols" to honor some ancient melodies associated with Christmas in the British Isles. Up and coming baritone Jacob Herbert joins the Chorale and string orchestra in a revisit with this haunting work after twenty years. Other fine composers will be featured, among them Jan Sweelinck, Francis Poulenc, and Eric Whitacre. Saturday, December 1, 2007 - 7:00 pm

Early Spring Concert Music of Shakespeare This performance will be in two parts: the actual music William Shakespeare used in his plays, set within the authentic context of the drama, costume, and instrumentation, followed by Shakespearean texts set to music by twentieth century composers. Late Spring Concert Thistle and Shamrock Hear the music that the Oregon Chorale will be performing on its fifth tour of Europe, this time to Ireland and Scotland. In addition to many favorites from previous tours and recordings, the Chorale will be featuring some recent compositions representing the United States as well. Saturday, June 7, 2008 - 7:00 pm
