The Oregon Chorale was invited to record three numbers for a CD promoting
Rodgers Organs. The main entrance to Rodgers Instruments is guarded
by the giant organ console made famous by world renowned organist Virgil
Fox.
The instrument showroom, complete with pipe organ, doubles as a recording
studio. The acoustics are wonderful for singing. Here, the recording
technician sets up the mics while Bernie and Dan confer over final details of the performance.
The organ used for the recording is a hybrid digital/pipe organ with a four
rank principal chorus complimenting a full range of digital stops.
