Join the Oregon Chorale for our annual holiday tradition Comfort & Joy at 4pm on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th! Immerse yourself in the spirit of the season with a festive collection of contemplative choral repertoire, holiday favorites, and festive sing-a-longs.

Mozart Requiem

March 14 & 15, 2026

Join us for Mozart’s Requiem – the powerful and moving masterwork written at the very end of the composer’s life. The Oregon Chorale will be joined on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 by professional soloists and orchestra for performances that will both stir and soothe the soul. 

Into the West

May 30 & 31, 2026

The Oregon Chorale is off on a great adventure! Join us for Into The West on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 for concerts filled with themes of exploration and discovery as we prepare to fly off on our summer tour to New Zealand!

Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration

Tree Lighting Ceremony and Performance

Celebrate the season with the Oregon Chorale at the annual Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration at the Hillsboro Civic Center on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Artisans showcase their best handmade work at this bustling market, while carolers, live music, and activities for all ages abound. Downtown merchants will also be open for business with a variety of in-shop activities and promotions. Downtown will be full of holiday cheer and excitement leading up to the awe-inspiring tree lighting at 6:00 pm and sing along to some of your Holly Days favorites.

Joy Manifest: Beethoven’s Ninth

with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony

From turmoil to triumph, Beethoven’s final symphony breaks the mold and sings of universal fraternity. It’s not just the shoulders we stand on: it’s the future we reach for.

  • Symphony No. 9 by Ludwig van Beethoven, featuring Oregon Chorale and four Portland Opera artists.

  • World premiere of a piece by student composer Elaina Stuppler, as part of The Authentic Voice commissioning series in partnership with Fear No Music’s Young Composers Project.

  • This concert will also showcase one of the winners of MYS’ annual Concerto Competition.
